Back up your shows to a memory stick (USB device) and transfer that stick to a computer look on the stick and you will find a file called Allen & Heath in that you will find the showfiles with the extension .xml I believe.
2009/07/07 at 2:48 pm #24404Wolfgang I agree with you about the touch screen and big fingers.I use cheap propelling pencil (Mechanical pencils) bit like a stylus for a PDA that way I can hit the correct button. The only problem now is where do I keep my Pokey Stick []
2009/06/21 at 12:31 pm #24376I agree sounds like some confusion over scene and show recall. I have done many shows on an iLive scene recall is to my mind instant, 1 scene per song and hit the recall button it all happens.
You could argue that update a scene is a bit slow, but I tend to use store all which is a bit quicker.Archive show is about 15 seconds and recall a show configuration can take a couple of minutes but who does that mid gig without a strong reason. Not I.
As for the Midi issue I just don’t go there,I decided long ago Midi was for Keyboard Techs bless them

2009/06/20 at 9:08 am #24373I would hope it is soak tested before it leaves the factory? but I think it shows commitment if the dealer is going to test it before it ships to you, bit like a car PDI (Pre delivery inspection) possibly.
Mr.B2009/06/09 at 11:01 am #24359Is it me or does this sound like a ground is missing on the Phono inputs? Now I know why I like those XLR connectors, or even the digital inputs.
2009/06/09 at 10:52 am #24358Just gone Fibre Optic (self build) works great now up to 550 metres on Neutrik Opticalcon connectors and cable. Not as cheap as Etherflex cable but very neat.
Ian B.2009/05/29 at 10:17 pm #24339In the save options you can select what options to save within a scene, just de select the faders from this menu that may work for you.
Though for chapter and verse Carey would be your man to answer this more fully.2009/05/16 at 5:06 pm #24324So is the editor software available in Linpus yet?
I have an Acer netbook running Linpus that has the usual Wi-Fi stuff that would be a nice neat sollution for me.
Any thoughts Rob,Andy you know I am too thick to work it out for myself.
Would be handy for my usual summer of classical pick-nicks,Tee Hee.
Mr.B.2009/05/16 at 4:55 pm #24323I will second this view, even though I am in England I have had course to thank the guys in Kernow couple of weeks ago I had 2 iLives out on a job I lost a couple of inputs on a card not normally a problem except I needed all 128 inputs.
New card delivered to site in 24 hours. You see Old fashioned service what a wonderful thing.
Mr.B2009/04/20 at 5:22 am #24288Just send the mains to a number of stereo or mono matrices as required that way you have your PA out to do as you will, mono fills etc, the stereo record outs show relay feeds all with separate dynamics and EQ, the world is your Lobster.
Then bury the main L&R faders as they should not be required.2009/04/20 at 5:17 am #24287Turning down the amps sometimes affects the gain a bit weird over several units however, turning down the inputs of the speaker processing would mean you can drive the desk harder which may help as long as you don’t run out of headroom in the mixer.
2009/04/09 at 5:39 pm #24150can’t think of a delay that does not click,or make some noise. mute works for me, but then what do I know.[8D]
2009/03/31 at 8:49 am #24138Ah then I must have a faulty TCS 804 and a faulty D-Two in the warehouse?
2009/03/30 at 10:11 am #24133From what I remember of this subject it is nearly impossible, the amount of resources required to almost, make this happen would most likely mean the rest of the desk would stop.
I am not aware of any console or external delay unit that allows this to happen, I suppose in theory a tape delay would let you however you would get sluring.Hope this is correct, I am sure someone will let me know if it is untrue.
