    B.Beat

6 separate out and a nice q-16 is top solution for backing tracks. the only alternative is a laptop with an audio interface and almost 4 line out.

Cymatics 16 was the best for this job, but is out of production, and is very difficult find also in second hand.

Hi Mike, this is not a big problem for my singers πŸ™‚ they are only interested in being able to control the amount of fx, I work with the backing tracks, and therefore the effects only go to the vocals πŸ™‚ thank you very much for your interest :))

Thank you so much Mark !! could you tell me the settings to be made step by step? I have all the groups free because I don’t use them !! Would you solve me a big problem with my singers, because when a singer turns down the volume of his colleague, he hears a lot of fx !!

I try to explain myself better:
if the fx is assigned post fader in mix 7/8, when I lower the microphone fader, the amount of fx should go down too. Instead the fxs remain at the same volume. they go down only when I turn down the send assigned to the fx through qu-you. I assign the 2 fx I use to the same slider in the qu-you.

Hi Mike thanks for answering πŸ™‚
The mixer is next to my keyboards,I don’t need a wireless system,so I use a behringer p1 as a headphone amplifier.
I could use the 2track out, but I wouldn’t have volume control and
moreover it is postfader and by lowering the volume of the master I would also lower the volume of my headphones.
The best solution as you wrote is to bring all the channels of the 9/10 mixes to 0db in order to have
the same sound of the foh in the iem.
I don’t use internal processors on the masters so it wouldn’t change anything about the final sound in the headphones.
    Thanks for your valuable advice!

thank you Steffen! naturally having the need to have separate mixes for the singers, I had already set the ch in prefader. the only problem was that of the fx. unfortunately it is not possible to solve it.

ok, can you explain in which page? fx send? fx return? . i can lower the fx only if i turn down the fader of the channel in lr mix, but i want a separate indipendent mix in 9/10 mix. is it possible? thanks so much!

hi [XAP]Bob, none symptoms… it freeze while working. no advise at all.
the qu-pac is in a 8u abs flightcase,no fan on it (qu-pac must be in a rack, can’t transport without)
but: after i buyed. the same day, it was on my table at home, and after 30 minuts of use it freeze.
table is in open air…so i don’t think is a ventilation problem.

what you mean : What led up to the freeze?

it remained in the same condition of normal use…i noticed about the freeze because the meter of the select channel
not moving at all, but the musicician is still playing.

    sorry for my bad english.
thanks to all for any suggestion.

i’ve understand the Matrix now, but i have a question: in qu-pac where are the xlr out of Matrix 1-2 /3-4? i can assign Matrix only
    to alt-out!
qu-24 and 32 have xlr out for this.

    is that right…or not?
