    Hi Harry,

I bought the Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 16GB (unto 245mb/s read speed,50 MB/s write) which is one of the recommended USB in the list but it is not working. I have formatted it via Utility/QU Drive but I am always getting a 512 bytes in any of my recording. Recording is running but the elapse time is not.

Then I also tried to copy to playback but the board is reading it as unsupported file.

Hope you can help me with this issue I’m facing.

    Thanks.

Thanks Andreas, yes I’m hundred percent sure.
Maybe i would need to reinstall the firmware.
I have tried so many options already but still no success.

Thanks Bob for all the kind help you have given me.

I also checked it but there is no value in it even after setting up the router.
Pls see attach. I am beginning to think there is a defect in my newly bought QuPac.
Or should I reset & re-install the firmware.

    Hi Bob,

Yes Know where to see the QuPac DHCP setting. It has a default Ip, subnet & gateway. Please let me know how important are these default values.

Yes I can also see the DHCP table in the router if you mean viewing the router in computer or via settings of the ipad upon connecting to it.

I really do not understand it as I am not familiar with networking.
But here’s how I do it.

    1. Turn on the router.
    2. Connect the the network cable to & from router to qupac (via lan port).
    3. Turn on the qupac with default DHCP ENABLED setting.
    4. Connect my Ipad via wifi to this router after checking the Lnk is on (orange).
    5. Open the QUPAD app, which gives 2 options DEMO & OTHER.
    6. I Chose the OTHER.
    7. It prompts to enter IP ADDRESS or HOST NAME.
    8. This where I try to enter the IP of the router.

Hoping that you get help figure out from these details.
I also tried to update the ip, subnet & gateway in the mixer but no success also.

    Thanks.

    Hi Bob,

I have tried so many ways but still not able to make it work.
Kindly below details if there is anything you can see.

    Firmware: 1.82
    QuPad: 1.81
Router: Airport Extreme 802.11n (5th Generation) ==> Is this too old version?
    DCHP and NAT
    DCHP Range @ 10.0

    – QUPAC DCHP is ENABLED
    – Network cable is connected to LAN port of the router & board.
    – Lnk yellow light is on
    – I turned on first the router, insert the network cable then, turn on the board.
    – tried to enter both the router IP & wifi Ip Address (in Ipad Settings)

    Hi Bob,

what do you mean by IP of the desk?

you mean I will reboot fir the the router, then after rebooting while it is still on, i will connect to QU-PAC then turn-on the Qu-Pac?

also, the Qu-Pad is prompting to enter an IP Address. I tried entering the router’s Ip Address but still not working.
Is it not supposed to detect automatically?

I am really having difficulty setting up the router, i have already tried 3 different routers (Airport Extreme, Express, Dlink 850L) with no success still.

Yes, I am using a 5th generation Airport Extreme & can see the IP address via Airport Utility.
I restored it not to factory default & now having IP Address & Subnet Mask Only.
Cable is tested, same cable I used now to re-set-up the airport extreme.

Is there a need for me to manually update the IP, Subnet & Gateway in the mixer?
Though after, restoring to default, I am only seeing values for IP Address & Subnet Mask. There is no more Router Adress.

    pls see attached pix.

    @harry A&H

    Hi Harry,

My Qu-Pac DHCP is currently ENABLED but is unable to pick-up the router’s set-up.
I also have manually updated the IP Address, Subnet Mask & Gateway in the Mixer (Network) but still unable to connect with my Ipad.

need your advice how I can further trouble shoot.
