    Hi, I was recently on tour using an S5000 and DM64, and really enjoyed the Source Expander which I noticed isn’t available on my SQ5. I was wondering if there’s plans for this tool to be available on the SQ series, and if so, when should we expect that? Thanks!

    Over the past 3 years this request has been beat to death. Keith has mentioned on several occasions the fact that user requests are heard and considered until they are overdone. Apparently the overall A&H planned model design for the SQ’s sonic delivery may not be compatible with popular features like Expansion.
    Expanding the dynamic range of a track or two mix is a viable tool for injecting life in some dull &/or busy mixes, however it is not the only remedy available IMO.

    +1 for source expander (also waiting for years now, it is probably not an easy Job to implement, but I keep on hoping..)
