I finally got around to trying it. Totally works. Here’s my setup:

Scotchy, sounds like you’re the perfect candidate to make a rad instructional video! 😉

    Thanks for the tips!

Maybe I don’t fully understand how LivePerformer works then. Does it not use a computer the way a DAW would in a recording session? Because if it does, I know many have been able to load many more plugins in a DAW session with M1 and lower the I/O buffer size for low latency recording while using plugins. I just assumed this would apply to LivePerformer as well.

Thanks so much for introducing me to LivePerformer. Definitely something I didn’t know about that could prove very useful, I think especially with the dawn of the M1 chip being able to handle a ton of plug-in at low latency.

The idea of using Console got my attention because of the low latency of the Apollos. I played with it a bit in the studio and created a little workaround by saving multiple presets in Console loaded up with AutoTune in all the different keys. Then the engineer would just have to Load that preset/key for each song. Seems almost as simple as some of the features in LiveProfessor (although not quite as easy).

I’ll definitely experiment with it both ways. Thanks again!

I’m excited to install this! But one question—we have slightly older iPads running OneMix for our monitors. Will I have to update the apps too? At this point I’m hoping I never have to update the OS on the iPads since it’ll slow them down.

Well, in case anyone else has this issue, the first thing to check would be if one of your volunteers accidentally switched the Virtual SoundCheck I/O to “Inactive”! Soon as I switched it back to “Record/Send”, all was well. Silly volunteers.

Nicola, thanks so much for that config file. Very helpful! Now I just need to configure something similar for the iPhone. My users would make best use out of it if it was an iPhone app. But this is great for me to see how everything should ideally be laid out and configured. Thanks!!

Thanks for the tip!! I’ll look to bypass Logic for the recording purpose.

Thanks so much for that! Very helpful to see how you set everything up. I don’t have my C3500 yet. Our church is doing a major AVL upgrade and the board will be coming next week. Launch day is late Sept so I’m trying to figure out how to get my musicians some iPhone control of their monitors. This CC app is going to prove INCREDIBLY useful! Thanks A&H!

    Can’t do 64 channels at 96k. Only 32.

We will have around 50 channels.

Would love it if someone would share their file for the purpose of Aux monitoring with an iPhone!

Or really any file so I can see how you all are doing it! The files above I couldn’t get working. Dropbox file was missing and xml data didn’t open.

I’m looking to do this too but we’re hoping to record at 96kHz so we can’t use DVS. We have planned to use the Focusrite RedNet PCIeR card loaded in a Sonnet Echo Express SE1 to hook up to a iMac. We will have the 128×128 Dante card in our C3500 as well. The big question I still have is how “beefy” this computer needs to be to handle between 48-55 inputs at 96kHz? Recording into Logic. Anyone have experience here?

+1 This…plus an iPhone app is a MUST for a console this high of caliber.

+100 Because the iPhone app IS available for the LESSER A&H mixers, it’s honestly shocking that it’s not available for the DLive. Honor your your flagship model with an iPhone app please!
