I’ve now tested this with a Y-splitter cable and it works fine, a simple cheap solution to gain an extra mic channel!

@airickess, thanks, yes the single side method is an option. I think I would prefer not to lose the stereo in this case, even though FOH sound is predominantly mono it’s good to have the option of stereo FX or a (narrow) stereo image.

Unless I’m missing something, the option to patch the one input to both sides of ST is not available on a QU (16), just pairs of adjacent odd/even inputs.

Thanks for that information, it’s a pity really but it is not a deal breaker for me. I guess you could use a mic splitter and feed both channels but I wouldn’t chance it with a condenser mic and phantom power being fed from both channels.

Good work David, Had a play in offline mode and like it a lot, will get the Pro version too. Not hooked it up to my QU-16 yet but will soon. Very similar in use to the app produced by Behr***** which I use with my XR16 so that’s a bonus!

Even a simple utility to convert / validate scene file from / to, e.g. XML format would be useful.

Yes I agree, I’m not planning to do this in future but I couldn’t help myself but plug phone in very briefly to see if it charged, Qu-drive is still working BTW! If it is an issue then I guess a warning in the user guide might be a useful addition.

Ah, that makes sense, it’s the *somewhere* in the signal chain which was throwing me.

The manual does state that, I missed the significance of it.
“Pk senses the signal at several points within the channel.”
