I haven’t nor my friends bought anything but qsc over the last couple years…

    I haven’t needed any support myself…but from others I hear it’s aces!

    So,

Dead LEDs or squashed audio signal…

I’d like to know for one, if there is a possible issue with a component its always good to know, no one is perfect…and either way warranty would fix it for sure…

But if it’s a. Loose connector, or wire…that’s an easy fix…

Nic, it’s nice to know where the signal is coming from for all meters for reference…

And putting it in say a tech doc or the manual would be great…

I assumed before this post (wrongly I might add) all meters were post Pre on inputs…and post fader on outputs…and the comp bar was of course the negative of the main channel mix…

    Well,

I don’t use internal recording much, but that would be great!

In fact making it a more functional recorder all around may make me use it more often…

Say, playback some channels and allow recording on others…via who is selected in the USB button like the daw recording…Now you’ve got a very powerful tool for sure…much more than a live sound check or live recorder, studio work can easily be done without the need for a computer during recording…

Also allow tracks to be moved through…would need a new screen…but it’s just a file rename…

    Yes,

    I’ve only used a gld a few times…but nice console…

I’m actually more of an old school guy…mostly still analog…

Last many tracking sessions all been on the Neve VR48/PT HD…and the studder’s

Mix on SSL 4056G+ with Konecktor

The 32 that’s on the way is actually for my practice room…1000sqft…replacing a Yamaha in there…Also running Protools as well as Audition…

    Yes,

    The mark there was missed…

We may find it was a typo…and was supposed to be 10…

Wouldn’t that be and easy fix…

Even so changing the lowest setting should be a very easy change…

And yes 100 isn’t a usable threshold for my primary recording band as well…

Albeit I rarely use it on voice live…on recordings I fix it manually in the box…

    Yes,

As I said, see a use…and should be on the list…

Just giving options in the mean time for you and others to accomplish this task…albeit not perticularly elegant…it will do the job…without buying special cables either…

It would be awesome to have a list of features with voting…or a poll…

We and ah would get a way better view of who wants/needs what feature the most…

And a list of the proposed features they are looking/working on for the next release…

Nothing written in stone…just a friendly we hear you from ah…

Back on topic…I see a couple times I’ve done just this with other boards…and needed my soldering iron…at least the 80-90’s are done ๐Ÿ™‚

    Well,

    Let’s call it 1 then…

    Or maybe .0000000000001 ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m sure there will be a physical limit…and when this gets done should be that limit…

Most likely looking at 5-10 being the absolute bottom…

    Yes,

One way I find is to do a reset…

Then the points are spread out more…

    Great,

If you do identify the USB board/chipset with the issue, would be usefull to know, might help another or just knowing ones to stay away from…

    Well,

    Ok,

I see there are a few reasons for it….

    But, in the mean time…

Assige a prefader output to an output channel, and use a 1′ xlr to just dump it into the next channel…you’ll get all the processing you’d need, and it shouldn’t be any noticeable lag…

    Cool,

This is exactly what one band member wants do do at his house…

Too bad we couldn’t bounce or dub over tracks on the qu drive…that would be Awsome! And bring this unit into the workstation range of units…and of course automation as well too!

    I’ll plus one on qsc’s

    Best bang for the buck…

I’ve switched to powered cabinets for almost everything…Usually the K-series…Although I don’t like thier crossovers…I run the EV DC-ONE for mains distribution/eq/delay/crossover/etc…

    Well,

    I’m thinking it’s either a loose connector…or a cold solder joint…

Next time it quits…give it a jostle and see if it fires back up…it’d say smack it…but some people smack equipment too hard ๐Ÿ™‚

Ask ah if there is a cable/connector running to them…or a plug in board for each set…based on the layout I’d assume there is one or the other being so close to the fader location…
