I have been studying this mixer and am now ready to connect to ProTools. Trying to find some documentation…either written or videos to help with the process. I come from a pro tools/zoom L20 mixer set up. Anyone running ProTools on the CQ 18T? Thanks. Jim

I know this post is a few months old, but I ran across it when looking for the same information.

The user guide has good information on pages 50-52 for setting up the CQ for use with a DAW such as pro tools.

You have to set up one channel for playback for your recordings. if you don’t then it will record, but you won’t hear sound during playback.

If you have Pro Tools intro, you set one channel Input source as USB, then you can record on 3 channels. If you have artist, then you set one channel input source to USB and you can record on 15 channels, etc.

Whatever channel you set input source to USB, you must make the same channel the output in pro tools in your I/O settings. I set my input/output/bus default settings to mono to get all channels available.

I hope this helps if you haven’t figured it out already yourself.
