Is it me, or the pan and mute controls are controlling the mains instead of sends?

I can see the 4 layer buttons being held to show some extra ( Alt-like) information on the LCDs displays for that particular fader layer.
For example, gains or channel number…
Do you guys see some other function that could be useful ?

Yes, what a coincidence. I went back to 1.80 with no change, so I think I have to live with it until it gets permanent.

Same issue here, after an hour or so, the dead pixels come back.
They were working ok on 1.80

The PL option is always there and it sounds good in theory, but because the mixing is done in the Mixrack there has to be some isolation from scenes besides the update button. What if some operator hits the store all button?
I’m not saying I got it figured out, but if someone is actually working the PL way, I’d appreciate some real-world input. Even some thoughts from A&H people.

I work at a mid to big church. Different bands every week. 12 monitor mixes. Drums, 2 El.Gtrs, Ac.GTR, Bass, ST grand, ST keys, Percs, 4 or 5 BGVs 1 or 2 Lead VOX, Choir, sometimes string quartet, and what not…
There are ways to configure Avioms, but everything ends up being mono and the signals to the BGVs are mixed in a bus, etc. I demoed the PLs but there’s still a bit too much cabling in order to make them viable, and also a little risky to program and isolate them from the scenes. M-48 mixers are able to mix your aux channel and an ambient mic which is really neat, and all the mixing happens in the mixers, not the A&H MixRack which I think is a little too risky for our environment.
May be an iPad App emulating a personal monitor mixer???…

V 1.70 is a MAJOR improvement. The 20-20 eq is a killer, release time in ms is great, preamp safe, etc. I even noticed faster behavior when switching processors.

Awesome job A&H! Keep listening to your customers.
Dante card and ipad app, WILL make this system unbeatable.

Is there any chance that we can have the FX sends as options in the drop-down lists, because we don’t use pan/sub/gain/directs a lot, but FX sends most of the time?

Check if your motors are working. If a group of 8 faders are not working, they will update their position to the mix rack but won’t move. Check if they move throughout the layers.

I’d like to have a LRMsub mode, so I can make use of all 4 main paths without sacrificing an aux send for the Sub.
Also, aux sends PAN follow Main mix PAN option.
