I can see under the FAQ that it says:
Q: Does M-MADI work with RME and other third party devices?
A: Yes, we have tested M-MADI and it works well with RME devices, however we recommend you update RME devices to the latest version of
firmware. We have customers who have happily used M-MADI with Digico 56-channel MADI streams. M-MADI can provide multi-channel I/O via
SSL or Avid interfaces to ProTools.

But! It also says that the out is always 64 channel mode? Can I run In AND Out of a DigiCo desk with madi from the Ilive?

Please help if you know!!

In 2009 we talked about a dyn comp or multiband. Now it is 2012. LS9 has got a multiband… Need I list what the new Yamaha can do? Not to mention DigiCo.

I truely feel that you came out first and finished last.

Hmmm I have these isues as well. I have not met a Ilive user that does not. It degraded my MixPad to a nice toy to tune monitors with – other then that I find it useless. Sorry. It is just to unstable.

I still set up my R72 even for gigs with 1 mic.

Point at the programmer and press “cmd D”. If you need him in another department, press “cmd C” – go to the other department and press “cmd V” Or you can just use the “cmd D” and kindly ask him to walk to the other department.

I just got a crazy idea that I dont think has been mentioned before. How about adding some form of dynamic eq and multiband compression? Or just as the Vi6 did, add ratio, Q, Attack and release to the deesser…

I like the monitor mix app idea for musicians.

2 years ago since we talked here on the forum about dynamic eq, multiband comp an recording to a usb stick. Even a LS9 has got this. Still none of that for us. Now you can see where the R&D cash went.

Are none of you concerned that our current Ilive consoles just took a huge price drop?

I really need the stereo meter.

I use the mixpad on stage during changeover. I have a surface in FoH. I really need stereo meters and signal generator. I need to see if I have both channels on my HD and key channels and I need to check if the stage has hooked the monitors to the right sends.

Right now I use the meters on the in-ears transmitters and a mic for monitorcheck.

I posted your reply to Paul from Lynx and Benum. I have Benum to do a test with a new Aurora and a new IDR with madi. If it turns out to be a problem with a single unit then thats it. If it turns out to be a problem in general – I will let you know.

I dont think it´s that. I should be able to use both in and out from the converter with Ilive as master.

Even with Lynx as master and the Ilive only recieving madi it reports error. Ilive can lock on to the signal but it still has got this red cross under madi “healthy”.

What would make the Ilive call a Madi input not Healthy?
