Isn’t the TCP Midi Translator for Windows included in the DAW Control? There is no separate TCP Midi Translator for Windows…
Will cross check with my Mac today. I am more comfy with that system 🙂
Thanks a lot for your in depth reply!
Unfortunately I am still not getting it to work.
I must be doing something totally stupid here.
I am a bit unsure on how to set A&H DAW Control. Right now I am running it in “Midi Thru” on Midi channel 1.
Tracks live shows 1 to 4 “DAW control ports” depending on? where numer 1 is activated for Midi In/Out.
Sending C0,00 does do nothing on running recording in Tracks using Director.
bummer
didn’t find that option…
Maybe it’s time limited?
Just double checked.
The US-8 is not PoE+ 802.3at compliant. So you are correct. No IP8s on this one.
PoE+ needs 30W max per port, so I was mislead by the 60W. US-8 is PoE 802.3af compliant only (15W per port).
peace out
60W is not too weak to run one IP8.
I use a Zyxel 70W and run 2 IP8s and two other “af” standard devices on it.
Unfortunately there seems to be no option to edit posts here…. like in other forums
pls, delete. I have overseen global safes…
too many options 🙂
Oh, I have overseen the “Recall Preamp”. Thanks for the clarification.
So if we could get the possibility to store inserts and send levels in the library, and this could be a switchable option to suit everyones needs, we would have a streamlined solution in one place.
Who is adding this to the wish list?
Thanks, that’s how the “lib” way works. But only the processing gets stored in the lib, no send levels nor headamp settings.
And storing or copying the processing (using lib or copy+sel) does not include inserts either.
So we are still far away of a fast way to copy the complete channel. Right now it takes four actions to do it, if a channel includes a insert. 5 if 2 inserts are used.
Thx Nicola!
Is there a reason the channel “lib” seems to be not working in Director 1.63?
– The library thingy does not work in Director 1.63. Hitting “lib” does do nothing
– copy+sel does not copy the Aux sends. Found no other way to get this going
