had the same problem with my iDR48.
It was a hardware issue (mainboars) and it was fixed as I took the MixRack to my local dealer. Luckily, I was able to deliver spare iDR32 to the venue on time.best regards

I wonder why every digital console I’ve seen has no dust protection on faders. I had to replace all faders of my R72 because of sand, after just one and half month of working on the beach. Even inexpencive ZED series from A&H has such protection…

I had this issue too in my T112, and the problem is with the hardware. As my dealer explained, there is a resistor which is setting the limit value of the current going to motor-faders. Notice that when you press GEQ fader flip button, almost every fader changes its position. If the limit is set on too small value, faders doesn’t move and their current setting is copied to your EQ. Try to set fader levels to center position, similar to zeroed-EQ, and find the threshold above how many faders moved the issue occurs. In my case it was about 10.

I have configured BCR2000 for iLive using Learn function.
First 8 rotaries are in 4 layers, so I assigned them to DCAs, AUXes(16) and effect returns. They also work as buttons, so it is easy make them switch between -infinite and 0 dB by pressing, so it works similar to setting mute groups on and off.
Unfortunately, you cannot mute and unmute channel by pressing the same button, so you could assign separate buttons for mute on and off (you have to use note on with different value, perhaps it would be better to engage note on and note off in future MIDI implementations).
I also assigned 24 faders to volumes of first 24 channels. The problem occures when you have stereo paired two channels and still have two rotaries – when you move one of them, the level of both channels is adjusted properly on iLive, but the second one (linked) is not automaticly adjusted and stays at the same level, so if you accidentally touch the second one, the level skips. Please A&H mind that in the next release.

Than you for the new 1.7 firmware/editor.
Please include the new MIDI specification in the Download section. The old one is still from feb.2010.
What seems to be a problem with making the linux version working with the MixRack only (or offline) ?
best regards, keep the good work!

(iDR32,iDR48, T-112, R72)2010/04/30 at 11:55 pm #25529thanks a lot for Linux version It works well on my Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Edition (eee PC).
Could we expect soon the version that works also with the mix rack only and perhaps in the offline mode ?

2010/04/03 at 7:36 pm #25435Ubuntu, count me in also. My laptop with Linux launches quicker and works more stable.
A&H team – it was very nice to meet you at P+S in FrankfurtP.S. Apple is introducing new gadget (iTouch?) with touchscreen. Do you think that Mac version of iLive soft will be compatibile with that?

when shall the 1.6 software be ready ?
Would it have also the functionality of running two surfaces (FOH & mon) with one MixRack ?

2009/09/16 at 9:22 am #24681hello,
what I exactly mean is that the iLive has almost everything (PEQ, limiters) what is needed to manage speakers in some situations, instead of involving additional device. The only thing missed is an X-over, which is probably not so difficult to implement.
