➊ I understand the internal sample rate of SQ mixers is 96kHz however, when using the 32×32 USB interface with a DAW, is it possible to use other sample rates, namely 44.1 and 48kHz?

my tests gave best and max stable results (2 1/2 hours 32 track live recording) on 96khz.
48 kinda worked but i had drops after a while (daw : samplitude prox suite here) maybe reaper is less strict/better.in samplitude i could downsample the recording to 44.1 but i dont trust it with multitrack.
i stick to 96khz as hdd space is not a issue anymore and batch conversions (if needed) have become very reliable.
reaper is a lot “slimer” than samplitude it might work well with 48khz but 44.1 is definetely not the way to go in a studio setup.
last but not least some guys swear on 96khz with accoustic instruments (folk , classical e.t.c.) but this is another (endless) disussion.

yep hihi bugman strikes again (me) they forgot to assign the mute functionality if you assign the (3 possible) stereo ins (the ones on the console).
i assigned the main out and the mute function appeared (rotary for send level / knob mute function) switched back to stereo input – mute gone….i`ll post it to nicola…
thanks for your for your efort

    hey wolfgang
    d) in the iPAD-APP, I think it makes sense to have a page where you can label the channels one after the other. on the iPad, labelling is somehow easier because you can hold it in your hand better. but at the moment, this is a bit awkward, because the text field disappears after each name entry.
Alternatively, an offline/online editor would be very helpful.

if you “move” the faders window/section all the way “down” (handle in the middle) you`ll see all the label fields of the channels , that makes it easyer to label, still i agree with you.

the i-live editor was much better regarding such needs, including the (i feel like the roman cato repeating it over and over again)”import names” feature it used to have.
too one would have a overview on complex setups such as :see all channel strips at once e.t.c.
seems ah is running a bit after “cool” effects for hip soundengineers, not to blame ah as this is biz….
simple stuff i miss when naming strips, having a next button to select the next strip, auto fill on naming (on/off switchable) if you have 18 violins and so on.
as mentioned somewhere else, a dyn 8 overview window to avoid a mess ,showing the inserts and the remaining amount avaiable (not that i use so many),
i love having a organised setup (such as stereo dyn 8 (groups and so on) first and then the mono inserts (or vice versa).

but still complaining on a high level here as the console is simply smashing.

try this for android tablet, works on phone as well but really small….
it wants to update the first time you start it – let it do it,
you need to give permission to install on your device…
not shure if the print command/button works.
file is to big to upload to forum…

hi there is the one size for all,
the whole thing is not that big, i suggest to leave it all together in one folder
    unless you know about html5…..

you can choose open – index.html from where you can select the device you have,

or open straight the appropiate device he has (dm32.html / dm48.html / dm64html

i will try to make a app out of it, easier for android than ios as apple wants a full registration,

furthermore there is newly midi send/recieve channel names since firmware version 1.5
where one could conrol via osc these parameters (on ios).
that would make (full) sense if i d have not only beginner skills in java scripting, one could copy / paste
a imported text like it was in editor for ilive.
but this is far beyond my knowledge.

i find the naming implementation on the d live not satisfying , no text import on the director(like it used to be o ilives editor)
combined with less “prefab” naming list on the surface itself.

i understand that the programmers have better things to do…..

again, suggestions to add more names in the dropdownlists you`re welcome.
    my approach so far is:

    1. i select whatever the input gets on the dropdownlist.
    2. as the name of it remains displayed on the bottom, one could still type i the field above additional stuff such as
microphone type , di box, where it is on stage and so on.

    greets
    mumu
