Mine crashed with nothing else running in the background. . . might be kind of scary to run on something that tends to crash. . .

I guess that’s what you get when you try to hang out on the bleeding edge. I’m sure it’ll get better with time.

Firmware is on 1.8. I can connect with editor as well. I also just now got an error that MixPad used up all the iPad’s memory. It closed the app restarted it. I have tried two different routers, reinstalling the app, rebooting the iPad, and connecting to another mixrack that also has 1.8. . . out of ideas. . . still waiting on a call back from tech support. . .

Has anybody had problems getting MixPad to connect to their mixracks? I can use tweak on the same iPad to connect to my iDR32, but not MixPad. It will connect far enough to give me channel names and at least preamp information, but it just sits there with the screen grayed and the spinning dial in the center like it’s still trying to connect. I can’t actually do anything with it.

Since 1.3 firmware there is the abilty to store complete input channels and mix channel processing that you can recall independantly to each input or mix channel.

or are you requesting the ability to save all of the current send levels to a specific mix? (e.g. Aux 1 – input channels send levels)

Graham, we were considering doing the same thing. I hooked a second T112 up to our iDR48 to try it out a little while back. It worked fine, but I only played with it for a few minutes so I don’t know if it would be stable for the length of a show. It makes sense that it would work like a second computer though. . .

Any chance it will become possible in a future update? It’s a shame to have all those channels sitting there that can’t be accessed.

We use a cyber power 1RU voltage regulator and backup power supply. It works fine. Lost power a few weeks ago. It kept the rack and surface up for a few minutes before I shut it down. It would have lasted for a while longer.

1 It would be nice to be able to set the sub mix as the main function of the rotary encoder instead making it only accessible using the rotary shift.

2 A mix library that recalled the input levels for an aux along with all of the processing would be extremely helpful. We have different people rotating every week. It would be nice to be able to just call up their mix.

I don’t think there’s any way you can use the headphone out. We use a wireless IEM pack.

Both the ilive T and ilive that I’ve been using are running 1.43. I suppose it could just be a variation in processor speeds.

From my experience running a show on an IDR10/ilive144 and then moving directly to another room and running on an IDR48/iliveT112, I’ve found the Ilive T to respond noticeably faster to commands from the surface, especially when going from menu to menu on the touch screen. Seems kind of weird to me since the T is the smaller, cheaper console. . .
