Hi Keith, Mac app looks great but I can’t get it to appear in Launchpad. I’m running Monterey on an M1 MacBook Air by the way. Is it just me, or is this something others are finding I wonder? All the best David

Why not 12/12 faders with 2 x screens like the c3500 but with all the expansion and redundancy of the S series? I could be tempted 🙂

@tor As a work around, you could always just route the FX Outputs to actual IP channels to get comp/gate etc. I tend to do that with a Reverb that is too wide (for instance), so that I can adjust the stereo spread which is not possible currently on an FX Return. You probably already know this, but you can also use a mix send to drive an FX and add compression or de-ess the send of course which you currently can’t do on an FX send. Cheers Milky

Hi Ben, it may not be an ‘official’ solution but it does work though doesn’t it? 🙂

Hi Ben, can you tell us when the new dLive Firmware Reference Guide V1.5 will be available please?

There is actually a copy and paste feature for Scene Recall Safe. It’s not documented (as far as I know) and can only be done on scene at a time but it’s still very handy.

1 In the Scene page (with the scene list visible as a widget on the right hand side), select the scene with the recall safe scope you want to copy (you don’t need to recall the scene, just select it).
2 Tap to open the Recall Filter for the selected scene.
3 Whilst the Recall Filter is visible, select the scene you wish to paste it to using the widget scene list.
4 Check the pasted to scene Recall Filter and you will see the the Recall Filter is updated.

Not quite what you requested of course as it’s only one scene at a time rather than pasting to, or updating multiple scenes, but it’s been a life safer for me. Hope it helps.

    Cheers Milky

Oh, I see what you mean now. Interesting. On a slightly different note, I used to use the iLive Editor alongside the iLive surface all the time, as not only did it give me an overview of all I/O regardless of the surface assignments, but I could drag and drop channels on the fly mid show if needed. I find, at the moment, I’m only using Director offline as I can do and see everything on the surface and, so far, Director does not have the ALL I/O overview, but I’m hoping that is on the cards for the future.

By the way, I love the dLive and Director and I compiled my list not as a criticism, but to hopefully get some discussion going on here and also just for the record. I know that A&H will constantly be adding and refining features all through the life of the dLive.

Thank you Richard. Unfortunately, I’m not sure when I’ll get a chance to try this on a system myself, but glad you’ve got it working. It would be great to have confirmation from some others that it is working for them as well. Ladies and Gentlemen?

Funnily enough, I was just wondering about this myself. Any news on this bug fix gents?

Thank you Ray, that’s good to know and interesting too.

On Mavericks, I was losing the Editor connection with Smaart 7, FileMaker Pro, MidiPipe and Meyer Compass running. I also had the A&H Midi Driver app running as I use Midi via TCP/IP to send Program changes to FileMaker via MidiPipe. Maybe your info and mine will help A&H support to fix the issue speedily? Let’s hope so eh.

As a follow up and just to be clear, is the v1.95 Editor losing it’s connection when in the background if using El Capitan or Yosemite, or was it just on older OSX System Software, like Mavericks etc?

Also, are there any issues with connecting the Editor to a Surface or MixRack with El Capitan? I installed El Capitan on an External Bootable drive with a Clone of my main Hard Drive to check things were working prior to doing the upgrade on my Laptop but I could not get the Editor to connect or even see the Surface whilst my laptop was booted from the Cloned El Capitan drive.

    All the best Milky
