Let me clarify something…… To those of you having success with logic and a Mac…… Are you doing any midi setup at all inside the qu24? The manual has a section about the control and midi tabs…… Up to now I have been bypassing that step.

Since I did not download any drivers I assumed that step wasn’t nessesary

Well….. I don’t see that anywhere in the manual….. I could try that…..

I am very confused however….. I’m on a Mac, so I did not download any drivers…. Do I still need to set up the midi stuff that’s in the manual…. Or can I bypass those instructions.

Thanks for the response……. Recording one track…… Have not tried a short cable…
I’m using DP AND LOGIC….. Allen and Heath does not recommend a slimmer DAW…. Recording to internal drive.

Thanks for all of the input guys………… not sure why I’m still having problems……… I am running a desktop mac pro 2009 with 16 gigs of ram……… I’ve gotten it to record in both Logic and DP but not consistently…….. moving usb cable to a different usb port on the mac seems to make a difference…….. very weird behaviors…… makes no sense. Any help from anybody is appreciated.
