    Hello Charles,

Certainly, your desired setup is possible with the Waves SoundGrid SuperRack server and the SQ7.

    Connectivity:
Ensure that the Allen & Heath SQ Waves Audio Interface Module is securely plugged into the back of the SQ7. Connect it to a functioning SoundGrid DSP server and a SuperRack SoundGrid host.

    Routing Insert Effects:
Utilize the SoundGrid-enabled inserts by routing insert effects sends for your desired channels to the Waves SG server, recognized as an IO card.

    Return to Respective Channels:
After processing in the Waves SG server, the audio should seamlessly return to their respective channels on the SQ7 for standard mixing.

    Processing in “Insert A” Location:
Confirm that the SoundGrid-enabled inserts are processed in the “Insert A” location within each channel strip, meeting your specific requirement.

    Global Direct Out Source Option:
With the successful setup, you should be able to position the Global Direct Out source option before the SoundGrid-enabled inserts, ensuring it comes before, not after, as needed.

If you encounter any challenges or need further clarification, feel free to provide additional details. We’re here to help!

    Hello A&H,

Hope you’re well. Quick query: Any word on dLive Director compatibility with macOS Ventura? Software page hasn’t been updated, and users are in the dark.

    Hello,
You can use the Allen & Heath SQ5 mixer with the AR2412 stagebox from the GLD112 system. Connect the SQ5 to its stagebox and link the AR2412 to the SQ5 using a dSnake Cat5 cable. This ensures cross-compatibility, serving as a backup in case of GLD112 malfunctions.
I hope this will help you.

    Regards
    Mia Smith

Certainly! To define a soft key that unmutes one channel and mutes all others, access the soft keys setup in your mixing console. Create a new soft key and assign the “mute” action to the channels you want to mute, and the “unmute” action to the channel you want to unmute. Link these actions if possible and save the setup. Test the soft key to ensure it’s working correctly. For precise instructions, consult the specific manual for your mixing console, as the process may vary depending on the model and manufacturer.

    Certainly!

To connect your Dlive to send MIDI CC to your H9 Eventide using Allen & Heath MIDI control, you can follow these general steps:

Connect the Dlive to your computer via a USB or MIDI interface.
Open the Allen & Heath MIDI control software and ensure the Dlive is recognized.
Map the desired MIDI CC controls from the Dlive to the corresponding functions on the H9 Eventide within the software.
    Save and apply the settings.

    Hello Martin,
The fader should ideally be at “0” (unity) for neither increasing nor attenuating the level. However, since you’re experiencing a level less than 0 dBFS, you may need to check the signal chain’s calibration, including the Waves WLM Plus settings, to ensure everything is aligned properly.
