(with shared preamps from channels 1 to 16) gain knobs are blueIs it possible then to share the preamp three times then?

I have allready a stereo aux setup (output 5/6) merged to one stereo fader with a panning knob, but how can i pan the guitars? or keyboards? I’ve setup channels 1 to 16 inputs and FOH mixing tab, and 26 to 42 as monitors (same naming etc etc) these channels have a blue preamp knob so that i have separate gain from FOH and Monitors, but then the panning does not work.

Let’s say you have an iDR32 mix rack. Even though you only have 32 mic pre-amps, the iDR32 still has 64 channels of processing power. So you can assign mic pre-amp 1 to channels 1 and 33, pre-amp 2 to channels 2 and 34 and so on. Use channels 1 to 32 for front of house and channels 33 to 64 for monitors.
Enjoy!
Pauland don’t forget to set the aux source at least post PEQ of course

2012/12/10 at 1:10 pm #32374Hi DBURRIS
So what i can do is make a group, put in the guitar and route this to the drummers aux?
then i can EQ the group where the instrument is on and this will not affect the FOH EQ or the EQ set on the Aux bus….. If this is the case then i hope i will get more mono groups in the future. Now its only 4 mono and 2 stereo. iLive Editor v1.9thanx all i think i can move on with this.

2012/12/07 at 11:51 am #32358Thanx for all advises,
Still have to try this.
Ok simple question. Is there an option where i can choose between post/pre EQ? that would be nice. Then i can EQ instruments seperately from FOH and Monitors.
