I recognized something in the same direction.
In my Windows System it belongs to the recording Software wheter multitrack will be recorded without noise or with noise.
Tried it with Ardour and had really hard noise in the tracks.
With Reaper I have really good Recordings.

For me it seems like it belongs to how the Software is “speaking” with the Audio device and if a mix Option is possible (ASIO In, but WDM out). Wenn this Mix is not possible, all is fine, but if you mix the Audio Options than it run into Problems. Perhaps there is something wrong with the ASIO Driver?

Sorry but I did not understand the difference between Input channels and sockets. Can you tell me what you mean with socket?
You write in the description of DX you linked: “The DX system enables engineers to increase analogue and AES3 digital I/O in dLive and SQ systems”. But that has no effect to the max 48 Input processing channels?
Is there a way to have more than 48 analoge Inputs in an SQ mixer?

Sorry Keith,
you say I have the Option between remote Control or multitrack recording. But I bought a mixer which should do both at the same time.
The Problem is known since month now, when I can read it correct in this Forum.
Is there a possibility to give us a hint when probably it should be solved?

We are waiting also very hard for Firmware 1.3.1
We bought the mixer only 1 month ago and didnt manage to record multitrack without issues with many different Settings (win, mac, ubs-b, sq drive, logic, ardour, different sticks, Laptops, …)
