I’m sorry, but I’m having a really hard time understanding what you’re looking for. Can you try to phrase your statement as a question?
sub-groups & aux are either/or 12 aux or 12 groups (or in between 1/11, 6/6, etc).
There isn’t 12 auxes AND 12 groups.
There are 3 Mtx
I agree it is silly A&H doesn’t include this as it is so simple to implement.
But, https://forums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/topic,165684.msg1527412.html#msg1527412
You can create your own via PEQ.
Ahh okay, sorry I have about the recording experience of a snake being a bird.
QU series has that ability – I would Imagine (ASS-U-‘n-ME) that it is coming; block diagram doesn’t show it either (for now).
This probably isn’t what you’re looking for but using an old analogue compressor split you can come unbalanced out of headphone out to your monitors.
Someone who has a stage rack, can you route PAFL to the stage rack outputs what about Monitor out for ME-500/1?
Not a bad deal really…
What do you mean?
Do you want to use a matrix as an additional output?
Or a group?
Or an Aux?
I thought S-Link port is a form of gigaACE in order to work with DLive series?
12 Stereo Mixes (group or aux) 24
1 Main Mix (Stereo) +2
4 ST FX Sends +4
2 Stereo Matrix +6
Anyway you slice it it doesn’t make sense except this configuration.
The PAFL is 2x more, not sure it counts.
And the groups & auxes can be switched between mono/stereo BUT!! it does not give you more auxes (mixes) you are effectively disabling pan and the right channel in the stereo mix (aux) when switching it to mono.
They obviously can and should add this functionality, but… GLD.
There is a new page for the firmware releases on the SQ6 page. It is a version behind though.
I’m assuming the portal is necessary for the future upgrades that we may or may not have to purchase???
If your using the console as a monitor mixer then set the channels to post fader and change multiple mix outs by just adjusting the main fader.
I’m with Art though, not sure what your goal is so not sure how to help.
Do a hard reset as well.
Is there release notes to go along with this?
I’m keeping close track of updates as I have clients waiting for their SQ6 and I want to keep them apprised.
I don’t have my SQ6 yet so I’m not registered, I’m Assuming the release notes are in the registration portal?
With that logic the dSnake shouldn’t be routable either or the output channels to usb.
‘Need to’ in order to make virtual sound checks possible.
Which version of TF did that happen? I guess I should just go read the release notes… I just hate Yamaha’s website, so convoluted 🙁
I hate mixing on the TF5, (hoping to replace with SQ) but in the meantime…that’d be nice.
Agreed, that would be so nice even still… QU is staying and we need to be able to rent desks out with patched show files without getting the desk out…
