This is an exact request i requested earlier.
For any serious third party app or integration with apps to work (in my case a IEM control application), we have to be able to get the current send levels of the aux. But you should actualy be able to request all the states of the GLD as much as possible.
Ludovic, if A&H is not going to help us provide this, maybe we could work on reverse engineering the protocol together. It doesn’t look encrypted or anything in my first attempt to sniff the ports.
I Like this idea! Preparing on the editor and printing a patch list with names of the inputs and outputs would be a great feature.
Nobody ?
I can’t seem to find the webinar on youtube…. Is it uploaded yet ?

Optionally receiving the signal level of a channel would also be nice.

I just want to bring this topic back into attention.
We realy would like some more details about the ethernet communication.
The last resort would be to start using packet sniffers and see if we can read something from that…..

Are there any informations about controlling the console via ehernet?
This is exactly what i’m planning to do, except the complete ethernet control protcol isn’t provided by AH.
Alternative (exiting but time consuming) would be to go start snifing with wireshark

Don’t forget to turn on DHCP on the GLD (Setup -> Network).
The GLD uses a static IP by default.

Thanx Bucks for the clarification.
Switching to UDP should solve it depending on the way the communication protocol between surface and ipad is build. I have faith
Any idea when we can expect the launch of the Ipad App ?
