Thanks Nicolas for the Answer – i sucessfully used it on my last monitor-job! Although i’ve got some suggestions:
If I press PAFL of an Input Channel, and this one is not assigned to either wedge or IEM – the PAFL comes in full volume out of my che wedge.. i see that other engineers always turn the cue wedge fader down before PAFL any other channel.. but it costs you more time to do so!
So I thought I’m a genius and assign all the Input Channels only to IEM! In this case after cue-listening to an Aux, I can press PAFL of an Input without fading my cue-wedge down to hear the channel in my Headphones! That worked so far.. but here’s the problem:
The sequence of “muting the cue wedge, and PAFL the Input” is “wrong”! Before the cue wedge is muted the channel is PAFLd! Means you get a short signal from the input to the cue wedge!

See the attached video (although in german) where you can hear the short noise while swapping from cue wedge to IEM!

Do you have any oltion card installed? Sounds like a wolrd clock issue! Check in the setting/audio/sync if the world clock is set internal or to the option card (in case you’ve got an extension card installed!)

it’s an old thread.. but i’m still missing it: Bookmarks for Pages to assign by softkeys (like the Yamaha Desks)

for GLD and dLive with just one screen would this be super handy!

What about combining the c-Range with the “full” dLive: Can I use de S5000 with the CDM48? (not redundant – i know)
Since now.. i’ve never used redundant PSU or Network.. so for me a way to save money on the mixrack but still would like to have the S5000 Surface with the loads of functions!?

I’m an Idiot! Thanks Bob! After checking the block diagram: Delay is only included if I set the Global Output source per mix to “post all”!

    Thanks for your help!

I just got the information from my dealer that they have to replace the PCB and not the power supply to fix this boot-up problem! Cost me about 230CHF to get it fixed! Hope that was the issue! Keep you up-to-date when I got back my stagebox!

Hi everyone! Is there a solution on a failing power up? Just had the same issue with my AR2412… Fan starts working but blue Power-Light needs a boot up up to 15min till it works! I will send mine in to my A&H dealer! Looks like a power supply issue!?

Thanks Andreas for your answer but actualy it’s clear what I need:
    2 scenes!

Scene 1: “FoH ON – scene”
All Inputs are assigned to the Main LR Mix (all parameters should be blocked out of recalling except the “assign routing” from all the Inputs to the Main LR)

Scene 2: “FoH off – scene”
In the concert breaks I want to load scene 2 to “unassign”
all input-channels except the ST1 (st1 = background music) from the Main LR but still run instruments through InEar Monitors!

As far as I see there’s no individual filter for “assign” only! It’s connected with fader-level and during a gig these settings might need to get changed! (I would say the “routing mix sends” is the filter that includes assignments!?)

Solution would be using a DCA where all Channels except ST1 is assignes and turn it down in between the sets.. But I would rather safe my customlayer-faders for live adjustments!

In a further software update you could add a special mute setting that allows you to mute channels just on the Main LR but not on monitors… I would say loads of people would love to use this feature!

I’ve got a customer right now with the same question… Still see a problem due the “volumes” change also with the “assignment” in a scene!

And just to clearify.. You need to set in both scenes (foh and no foh) all filters on “block” except the “routing – mix sends”! Because the only thing you want to recall is the “assign” settings! Right!?

Only solution in my opinion is to use a DCA Fader and set them to zero!

If you implement this then please as a optional function.. Don’t like that at my GLD! Can occur unwanted changes!

Waiting for v1.9 when we can use stereo mixes as groups or matrixes (would be awesome for Qu-16 user!)
