So Mark, not to hi-jack here, but,,, Re the iLive editor, I know that with the ‘super strip’ view for channels you can see and adjust the direct out level by rotating the blue dial with your mouse, but is there anywhere that you can see the value of this adjustment?

How are you taking the signal from the iDR. From a physical output xlr port, or other digital format.

I can’t say as it is the same issue, but I know that sometimes with our T112/iDR32(V1.91) setup that even if we save our show file on sat night before we shut down, when we boot up sun morning, not all of the show settings recall on boot. We still have to do a manual show recall to get all the settings recalled.
Other times if we have a “large” show file loaded and want to recall a different “large” show file, not all of the new show settings recall. If we recall a basic bare bones show 1st, then recall the larger production show file, it works ok.
I’m guessing is has something to do with processing the XML show file. The larger the file, the greater the possibility of errors in import.

Library manager won’t let you delete individual files?
It’s possible that it’s a restriction(or a user access permission) of the 144, I’m on a T112, but with LM I can remove individually what I don’t want to keep without it being ‘all or nothing’.

I’ve also noticed that the “library” files(in our setup anyway T112 v1.91) are specific to a saved show, and recalled with said show, not saved to the surface as separate files outside of a show file.
If I want another operators input setup file for a singer, I have to open one of their shows and copy the library file to a usb file that I then can copy into my show to use.

Can you save your library files to USB and use them from there? That would also allow you to edit/delete ones you don’t want.
Only limitation then would be your USB size.

Another option, use “scene import” tool to “strip” or remove the strip assignment from the scenes.

Basically you can start with a fresh clean show with no scenes, import 1 scene(select all information) with the strip layouts that you do want, then import all remaining scenes(with multiple select) with the strip assignment information filtered(blocked). I’ve been able to successfully do this with Editor.
You do have to use a USB with this function. The show with the scenes you are importing from has to be on the USB for the import/export tool to function.

I’m not aware of a specific “scene safe” setting for strip assignments outside of “name and color”.

Larry, I’m using Editor V1.91(windows ver with Wine) on Linux Mint 17 64bit. I am not using VMware as I had video issues with the VM and the Editor program.
I have not connected for an “on-line” session, but it is working off line so far fine.
