I don’t know if it is possible to transfer scene files, but it is possible to send i.e. all tracks volumes one by one to the QU with some midi messages
2017/09/23 at 8:54 pm #65384Why don’t you use the scene save / recall of the QU ? or the iPad ?
2017/09/15 at 12:58 pm #65268By the way, thank you for your donation 🙂
2017/09/15 at 12:53 pm #65267Yes it should work.
Just install the QU ASIO Driver
Plug the mixer USB cable to PC and RECORD 32 tracks and PLAY again your 32 tracks…2017/08/24 at 7:36 pm #64963;
2017/08/24 at 7:33 pm #64962QuControl does not exists on Android.
Yes It should be good to have those 4 relative big wheels, in the same screen with the other tracks in the assign view too 🙂
So you can use the 2 together2017/07/20 at 6:37 pm #64381Usually, when recording and don’t need to listen what you are recording in realtime, or playing virtual instruments or effects, you don’t need the latency to be low.
It should be the opposite. Use a bigger latency so the buffer will not be lost if the OS is doing something else. You can try the software I have created for your recording / playback of the QU mixer on your surface pro
And see if it is working OKRegards,
Dan
2017/06/26 at 8:06 am #64010Yes. I have created a very useful program for my band with the A&H QU-PAC.
With 2 pedals, the 2 singers can transform their microphones into talkback microphone to talk to the band into their IEM
Basically, it remote the sounds from the LR and floor speakers so the mics are not going out , and send them only to the IEM aux
While releasing the pedal, it set it back to the original valueAnother thing I will add is : one button per IEM aux with the name of the AUX
When pressing this button, it also PAFL it, o I can hear what the musician is actually listening in its IEM
And maybe add 32 channels faders too, so I can edit them more easily than on the QU appDan
2017/06/22 at 8:40 pm #63989You can replay them with MIXTROOLS or you can use the individual wav tracks put inside the rec folder (up to 32), and you can then drag and drop them to any DAW
2017/06/22 at 8:14 pm #63985My MIXTOOLS software is still the easiest 🙂 And you can do multitrack soundcheck with it too !!!
2017/06/22 at 8:43 am #63975Hey, look at this program I have created : https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/qu-recording-mixtools
2017/05/16 at 5:19 pm #63367The midi pedal that transform the singer’s microphone into a talkback mic in the IEMs worked great in our last show !
I see in the midi documentation that the QU have MATRIX 1 & 2 tracks. However, I don’t see how to send tracks to the Matrix outputs?
When I send them by code, even if I PAFL them, I don’t hear anything ???
2017/05/13 at 10:33 pm #63332Any A&H person here that can answer me?
By the way I have started to toy with this TCP possibilities.
We are 2 singers, and everyone will have a pedal
When we press the pedal, our microphone will become a talk back microphone.
It set ASSIGN = OFF the mic to the LR , AUX56 that are loudspeakers and to FX, but sets a special level to all the IEM auxes
Wow we are now free 🙂The next cool thing will be :
I will do few big buttons for each AUXES with the name of the musician
When I select on aux, it will automatically PAFL it, so I can hear what he hear too in his IEMAs I like to PAFL the LR in my headphones, when I press LR, I will also PAFL the matrix 1-2 that will contain the ” talkback ” mic only
Then I hope to add 40 faders in one big screen, with colors etc … 🙂
Digital mixers with wifi control is amazing !!!!
2017/05/11 at 9:41 pm #63313Maybe is it the channel linking feature ?
I don’t see it in the documentation
Andreas, do you work for A&H? Maybe you can ask to the programmers? 🙂2017/05/11 at 9:29 pm #63312Thank you Andreas for the new version
It is with the Get System State Sysex message. I receive then tons of NRPN and 56h is one of them. (Maybe my parser error? I don’t think all is documented)
I am using .net and don’t know to program with c++ juce and multi platform…
So at last we will have a nice QU program for windowsWhile decoding this huge nrpn stream, I now understand a lot more my QU mixer and it is full of options 🙂
I only dream about having the AB168 extension for the QU-PAC so my program will really shine 🙂
With my app, it will be so much easy to mix but
Not sure if QU MIDI protocol can be as fast as the one used by the QUPAD app
Maybe the QUPAD app allow to have a better resolution than 0-127 for the faders? So still have to find the 56h…
