The new promotion on GLD starts now until march with a free AR2412, so I guess no new GLD for NAMM?

AB168/Qu is different than GLD/AR since this is no pad in the previous

hope for a new gld this NAMM too! My wish list is:

    1. More local inputs so I can plug in all my 8 channel of wireless.
    2. A way to record multi-track without buying a $1000 dante card.

So is the sound quality difference that obvious as Art stated?

I have been waiting for a GLD upgrade so I can step up from my Qu16. However, Midas M32 price just dropped to $3500, which makes me no reason to not consider switching to that system. Please, I don’t want to leave A&H 🙁

My guess is the next generation is already in the works. Just like dLive replacing iLive, GLD is approaching the end of life cycle. Looking forward to A&H’s next mid-level digital mixer!

Hardware wish list for next gen GLD:

    1. USB audio interface built in. Spend over $1000 on a Dante card for multi-track recording is just too much.
    2. More local inputs. Since there is no dedicate talkback mic input, 4 mic surface inputs may not enough for wireless mics.
    3. Better meter LEDs.
    4. Still support dsnake.
    5. Keep the under $5000 price tag.

    GLD needs a refresh.
