I for one, am really excited about all the new features with v2.0 and the RackUltra FX.

However, with only wo insert points available, its going to be even more difficult picking the plugins you want to use now, especially if you would like to use Dyn8, Vocal Tuner and something like the d-esser together.

It would be really nice to have more insert points available, even if some of them are only for the RackUltra FX

+1 definitely. Full Waves SuperRack Remote Control would be even better

Agreed. It would be fantastic to see the EW-DX range supported. It would add Dante options at a lower price point than the Shure Axient range (once the Sennheiser units are actually available)

It should be possible as the EW-DX range fully supports Sennheiser WSM

Would definitely appreciate support for the Sennheiser EW-DX range as that has Dante options. It is also fully compatible with the Sennheiser WSM software, so it should be able to integrate it

    Hi Keith

    Thanks for the info.

If I understand it correctly then, does that mean that if the input channel is unassigned form the main LR bus, then the fader position will have no effect on the direct out send level?

The reason I am asking, is because with an immersive audio system like the L-Acoustics L-ISA system, the input channels need to be sent to the controller directly, to be used as individual objects. In that case there is no need for bus mixing. I would think then, to be able to use the follow options, then leave the input channels assigned to the main LR bus, but just don’t route it to any output.

As a side question to this, do the FX return channels have a direct out option, or would they have to be routed to an input channel to get direct out?

OSC definitely looks to be the future standard for audio / video system communication as it is much more flexible and easier to program, so it would be a fantastic addition to the range.

    OSC vs. MIDI

We are now using OSC on projects where, in the past, we would have used MIDI. OSC is infinitely granular and bundled UDP messages occur simultaneously, continuously, and nonstop; where MIDI is limited to steps and divisions because it supports a very limited range of values. With OSC you can transmit multiple data types like 32-bit integers, floating point numbers, strings and more; while MIDI only transmits 1-byte integers 0-255. MIDI uses a compact binary message format with a limited number of fields. OSC uses a human readable, URL-style address format and can send data in forms of words or numbers. OSC also includes a picosecond-resolution timestamp while the MIDI beat-clock is low-resolution with a precision of about 20,833 microseconds. To boot, the OSC data rate is Gigabit speed while the MIDI data rate is only around 31,250 bits per second!

I think that L-ISA integration would be a fantastic addition to the Anavtis and dLive range.

Immersive audio systems are being used more and more at events around the world, from small to large, Houses of worship, concert halls an many more, and L-acoustics L-ISA is on the forefront of the technology. They continue to innovate and push the boundaries with the technology https://l-isa.l-acoustics.com/ L-ACOUSTICS KEYNOTE 2023 | Hollywood Bowl
