I dont have the option to change output channel colours on the CQ18T FW 1.1.1
Not sure what hardware/firmware Lee7 is thinking does this.2023/11/30 at 8:52 pm #117120Yes it should be – can you stereo link channels 1-2 or 3-4 ok? Use the method in attached image.

What mix are the headphones listening to? They can be set to any output mix, so set to main LR as a starting point.
What’s the headphone model and input impedance?
Mine drive headphones very well.2023/09/22 at 3:34 pm #115070My car audio player used to have that “feature”, it seems like a basic bug in the software development that a developer should fix before release. Anyway I found a program that will re-write the files onto the USB stick in order to get round the issues.

2023/09/20 at 8:43 am #114988To answer my own request – it looks like this can already be done.
From the manual “Choose the channels assigned to Stereo L/R for recording in the CONFIG /
USB/SD/BT (symbols) / USB/SD screen” – this gives options of Mains, Outs 1-6 of teh Fx channels.2023/09/14 at 7:57 pm #114882You can connect the CQ-20B to your home wifi network (assuming thats the same as the Macbook pro is using) and then the ipad apps can control both devices.Sorry Im not sure thats true for wifi – i use mine wired into my home hub.2023/09/12 at 7:06 pm #114784Heres the screen for setting fx bus outputs

Remember to set it back to Analogue to use the mic inputs afterwards!2023/09/08 at 6:56 pm #114675Headphones can only ouput one of the existing mixes, so can be an extra out if you’re happy to share fader settings with someone else.
2023/09/08 at 10:18 am #114662Thanks.
So to summarise recording capability-
SDCard = Multitrack – SDHC, 32 GB max, UHS-I Speed class 10 – (On CQ-18T) – max 24 user selectable channels/Auxs/Main Outs)
USB Stick = Stereo – Can record mains out only – 48k 24 bit Signed Stereo WAVSTo convert tracks to use for playback convert mp3s.etc to 24 bit stereo WAVfiles? and store in USB Stick \AHCQ\USBPLAY directory?
Can I request a feature to record Out 1/2 mixes or similar as an option?
2023/09/08 at 6:27 am #114654I connected ok to mine, from an iPad, first time. So it’s something in your setup. Perhaps if you explained what your setup was it would help people troubleshoot.
2023/09/03 at 11:18 am #114512yes it does – go to Config page, outputs tab, and the rename output option in in the centre of the bottom section – the same location on the page as on the inputs tab (RHS of the Library icon).

Phaser2022/06/04 at 9:40 am #107426Hi Giga,
Thanks for the response. ST3 is permanently set to USB-B (as it used for my PC audio channel) – when I swapped the USB cable to the iPad all audio stopped until I changed Channel 1 and channel 2 to USB-B inputs.2022/06/04 at 9:35 am #107425Hi,
Ive just got a new QU24 up and running (replacing/upgrading from a Behringer XR18) and have got this digital noise issue on playback from DAW (Reaper on windows 10)- has there been any progress in resolving this issue over the last 4 years?!? As you can imagine Im not happy having “upgraded” to the Qu24 to have it working less well than the Behringer!
Thanks. -
