    I would love to be able to plug a Shure stereo MV88+ USB microphone into the CQ-18T’s USB-A port and have that signal sent to the SD card multitrack feed as an audience mic. So far i can’t seem to do it other than the fact that the USB port does at least supply power to the microphone. Would be great if an update allowed this.

    This is not possible.
    The USB functionality is limited in the console. It doesn’t support audio streaming on the front port.

    Buy a real microphone?

    Hi Steffen,
    of course its possible. That would be a software change in the USB stack. However I also feel, such a feature will not be very likely to be done for CQ. But it is possible.
