S-Link connection between sq5 – Avantis – GX4816

I have a question about the connection Avantis – SQ5 – GX4816
My SQ5 has two S-Link ports. I want to use the Avantis as a FOH mixer and the SQ5 as a monitor mixer. The GX4816 is to be used as a stage box. The connection should be via S-Link. The connection should be in the order Avantis -> SQ5 -> GX4816.
Is it possible to access all input channels of both mixers without restriction with this connection. Can the main mix from the Avantis and the monitor mix from the SQ5 be sent to the stage box in this way?

Yes. Everything you are asking about should work like you think. Of course it comes down to routing it correctly in each console. It’s going to be a little confusing to keep track of everything, but it will work.

I’d recommend that you start out small. Try routing an single input from the stage box to the SQ5 and Avantis. Once that works as expected, route a single output from the Avantis to the stage box, etc. Once you have the basic “road blocks” down on how to route things, it will make routing everything else much easier.
