Has anyone else had problems with working Logic Pro Panning from the QU32? Can you give me advice on how this should work? Also I would love to see a tutorial on how to use the new Bank up/down feature with Qu32. It would be great to have control of 64 tracks when needed.

    Hi Stupaak,

Unfortunately, panning control is not parts of the Mackie Control protocol so isn’t possible.

Once DAW control is set up, you can assign the soft keys to act as bank up or down controls. Go to Setup > Control > SoftKeys and select DAW control and Bank Up or Down as the function.

This also means that you can access the stereo and master fader in logic on a MIDI channel.

    Thanks!

Panning most surely IS part of the Mackie Control protocol. It’s right there in the spec: using rotary controller values to control panning. Panning may not be included in Allen and Heath’s integration with Mackie Protocol, but neither are Scribble Strips, which are also part of the Mackie Control Protocol. Hopefully someday A&H will support both.
