QU-16 with other digital stagebox?

Hello!

Is it possible to connect QU-16 with for example X32 stagebox or X32 Rack? I know it’s possible to connect it via cable, but would it recognize each other?

The old digital spilt rears its head again huh?
I have seen an X32 spliter with 4x ADAT out ports to connect digitally scenario, however I don’t know of any way to get that into the QU.

You might be able to do it via a DAW.

Qu as clock master (has to be,) USB cable between Qu and DAW, different USB cable between DAW and X32 rack, cat5 between rack and stagebox. It’s dependent on the DAW being able to manage two different audio devices simultaneously, and I imagine the latency would be a problem, and you’d be limited by the USB cable length.

Yes, I suspect the latency would be the issue with this.
And also DAW being able to manage two different audio devices simultaneously…
Anyhow… i’ll just stick to anologe splitting
