ME-1 only works with power adapter, not on POE

Anybody have an ME1 fail to work using POE but still functions if you use the external power adapter? We’ve tried multiple known good Ethercon cables, we’ve plugged it directly into the ME-U, we’ve confirmed that the ME-U port powers other ME-1s via POE. It works perfectly if you give it external power.

Is there even a repair process for a broken ME-1?

To me, that sounds like a hardware failure. You should contact the distributor where you purchased the device for more information about how to get it fixed – especially if it is still under warranty. Of course you can also reach out to A&H support via the main A&H website. They might have a couple of tricks/tests to determine if the problem is in fact a hardware failure or not.
