Avantis, GX4816 and ME1's

Hi,

We have a set up of Avantis or an SQ5 going into a GX4816 and then from that feeding a POE hub and 6x ME1’s. On the GX unit we are getting an intermittent error light on the link light no matter what desk is used. Oddly though audio still passes through and the ME’s still function as expected (it grabs the names and everything)- its just really annoying seeing a flashing red light. Any ideas as to the cause?

Hi Slammin,
Presumably you have already ruled out cables? Test with a short STP cable if you have a chance.
Does the error light persist if you remove the switch and connect a ME-1 directly to the GX4816?
