    Sometimes would be very helpful to choose the source point of the Aux Sends.

    Example: Drummer’s IEM Stereo Aux

    I want to send the drum kit without Gates and Comp but with PEQ.
    Usually I double patch everything so I have different processing for monitors and FOH, but for the drum kit I only double patch Kick and Snare cause I don’t have enough processing channels.

    This is very important when you mix monitors and FOH (and sometimes Broadcast) from the same console.

    With most digital consoles it’s possible to choose Pre Fader send post PEQ – pre Dynamics.

    Please consider this on a future firmware.

    the gate is before the EQ and the compressor is after the EQ
    the already possible positions for the aux sends are

    Post Preamp = signal is affected only by the preamp gain.
    Post Insert Return = signal is also affected by HPF, gate and insert.
    Post EQ = signal is also affected by PEQ.
    Post Delay = signal is affected by all channel processing including ms delay

    this is an excerpt from the manual (page 40)

    so staring a minute at the signal flow diagram leads to a question from my side…

    @keithjah

    is the post send point switchable like the pre send point or is it always at the end of the chain?

    I believe it’s only switchable on a per mix level.

    …and you cannot choose „post EQ but pre Gate“. That is not possible with a fixed proccessing order.

    @SteffenR

    is the post send point switchable like the pre send point or is it always at the end of the chain?

    Setting a channel to Post just means the send ‘respects’ the LR fader position so the ‘Channel Source’ (tap off) for the mix remains the same.

    Cheers,
    Keith.
