I had the same issue, but little that I know there’s a knob on top of the console to turn up the Volume for the ALT Outs… LOL…. I spent 20 minutes messing with the routing and everything else I could think of until I stumbled onto the little knob right below the Phone volume knob that says Alt Out….

I see. Let me start with a fresh HD and see if I can turn the auto-defragment off on the laptop to avoid future issues. The thing is that it use to work just fine before. There’s a lot of data on the HD, so maybe if I re-format the drive then there’s less data to process.
