Thanks, I’m sure that info is around somewhere, I just couldn’t see it for looking.

Of course running at 48kHz, there should be processing power for 96 channels rather than 48, am I right 😉 ;P

One word why they aren’t likely to… clocking

Input selection is the issue here – 99% certainty.

Need to tell the mixer to use the dSnake inputs – there is no GLD/QU/SQ difference between the boxes. But the old (purple) ones were GLD marked since the QU/SQ didn’t exist

Compromising the pi USB capabilities by streaming as well though (nic shares the usb channel).

Does it falter over the 3.5mm Pi connection if it is streaming as well?

    Thanks for the snippets!

USB B and QuDrive simultaneous recording is fine, it’s playback that is one or the other.

A USB drive is likely more reliable than the SD card, but I haven’t considered whether there is enough CPU to encode to FLAC on the fly…

Must check Gstreamer out to see if I can dump to SD/USB drive from the RasPi.

That would be nice – straight secondary recording…

No – local inputs are fixed.

You could burn a mix output and analogue loop it round I suppose…

What do you expect A&H to do? Intel USB3 chips can’t support proper USB2 behaviour.

It’s like demanding that shell makes your Saab fly because Saab made some jets in the past and shell petrol is what you’ve used…

Intel messed up their chipset… A&H software can’t do magic. An ECU mapping change won’t get 1000 horsepower from a three cylinder 400cc engine.

Connect something to St3 normally prevents the pickup.

It should be obvious on meters if that is the issue

The screen encoder also takes a couple of ‘spare’ clicks to get to the shelf – which is visible on screen.

The dedicated knobs don’t allow that step transition because you can see when it would happen, and it is a major change of behaviour.

QuPad does not control the surface…

    It controls the mixer.

Alex – does it ‘not work’ or does it work just fine, but not change the layer selected on the desk?

The desk and QuPad are independent control surfaces

Route it to USB, ignore the rear in your computer
