    Is there some simple way to take the local ST3 board input and patch it to, say, fader 27 on the regular (lower) layer of the desk? Using the iPad this isn’t an issue, and I suppose using the custom desk layer would work too, but… I’d just like to know if it’s possible.

    No – local inputs are fixed.

    You could burn a mix output and analogue loop it round I suppose…
