On the SQ-Pad app you can use the horzontal slider below the EQ graph to change the Q-factor of the EQ bands. for the LF and HF band it is possible, when you move the slider fully left, to change the filter type from Bell to Shelf. The console follows that changes. But on the console it is not possible to do that. Also on SQ-Pad only the slider can do that, not via the numeric parameter fields when you extend the EQ view.
I would like to have also on the console the possibilty to switch from Bell to shelf and vice versa.

BTW: Today I found out that for the QU-Series there is a spectrograph.

Just a guess, but does it work like the QU?
You can get a shelf by selecting the high or low q, then turning the screen encoder to the left. The dedicated encoders do not do that.

You are right, thank you. Another hidden gem. Hmmm. nevertheless better that way as no shelf.

The screen encoder also takes a couple of ‘spare’ clicks to get to the shelf – which is visible on screen.

The dedicated knobs don’t allow that step transition because you can see when it would happen, and it is a major change of behaviour.
