I could imagine that you can just assign 16Mono Channels from the AR2412 nut you decide which one’s.. (so for example Channel 1-8 and 16-24) Also heard about assign the stereo channels from the AR2412 so you have only 2inputs spare on the Rack.
GL2400 32CH ==> GLD-80 / AR2412 / AR84
We will see what A&H meant with this, we have to wait until May.[?]
I think that will be better to control all of channels on AR2412 or better AR2412+AR84. They need to inprove dsp for more mixes. Then is this mixer GLD in small format [8D][].But it’s designed for small events, concerts,… with some extensions. []
2013/04/10 at 9:58 pm #33690How you will manage all of the channels from AR2412 if you have only 2 layers(inputs+outputs channels on mixer), maybe it will patch inputs + outputs or with combination custom layer? I don’t see any aditional button for more layers?
Maybe in the future [].

If you really pay attention to android, note only does the hardware differ between manufacturers but the OS is different for each device. My wife and I have different htc phones with android. Both OS’s are completely different. We get stupid updates all the time so that the apps on our phones will work on different phones. It must suck to be an Android app developer trying to keep up.They are different because one is using new version of android. If you look nexus phone has different menu, but kernel is the same. I wish that A&H listen the “other” users.

Linux []. I don’t see the problem about app for android, but iPad’s (ver. 2, 3, 4, mini) have also different type of hardware (processors, graphic card,…). Interesting [?]

Why not? Some android tablet’s are very good and JB 4.1 or 4.2 is fast and reliable OS. It will be 1st app of this kind for android []
While talking with the at NAMM I was told that the advantage to the iPad is that the hardware is consistent whereas each manufacturer of android devices uses different parts and pieces so they are never consistent. Therefore I wouldn’t expect to see an android app any time soon. Android is just fine for phones but not for real computing.
2 X GLD80
2 X AR2412
1 X AR840Exactly. I’d like an Android app as much as the next person… but from a business point of view, supporting a product on an unknown piece of hardware is a nightmare. Any problems with the app and A&H reputation with regards to that product is at risk. At least with an iPad, there is a level of consistency.
But, you know that on iLive surfaces with MixRack is Linux behind (OS) and android is linux for arm processors. It’s easy to define that you need dual core processor with min limit of ram and screen resolution, JB 4.1 or 4.2,…. I use SG Note2 or Nexus 7 with remote app for using iLive editor on PC/laptop. I wish that in can use this in club with GLD or better to use app for android. I would like to know which OS is on GLD.
