Yes, you can record 32 ch. without problem. Just assign ch1 and ch2 in tielines for input 1 and 2 (local input, stagebox,…), but you will not record master. I setup my SQ6 like this, i’m recording inputs 1-30, 31&32 recording master.

I’m using Waves Tracks live (it’s free) just for recording tracks (sometimes also for virtual soundcheck), for futher processing i’m using Studio One 4.

@KeithJ A&H This would be great

3 – at the output stage for use in place of a dedicated speaker processor
[a console is not a speaker/system processor, there is a reason they exist! admittedly though, there are already many features in our digital consoles that allow you to shape the sound and perform some of the functions that a speaker processor is designed for, and maybe again an option ‘beyond’ shelf for LF and HF would achieve what most engineers are looking for here?]

It’s often needed, when you have active speakers ( for monitors, frontfills, delay line, even for main PA) and most of them, don’t have dedicated low cut button (75Hz or 80Hz).

So… would it be acceptable to loose LF and HF bands for this?

Yes, if it will be switchable, anytime , i don’t mind, still have three

It’s also good, to have HPF and LPF on FX send or FX return.

@KeithJ A&H, it’s possible to make LF to be switchable (bell, shelf and HPF) and also for HF (bell, shelf and LPF), like it’s on dLive?

    +1 for HPF and LPF

In PEQ, if you swipe LF or HF to full left is shelf, them make it, if you swipe in to full right then is high-pass or low-pass.

I read alot about Android and pro audio world. All the time they said I/O latency, but i don’t want to make tracks with Android, i’m live engineer i just want to control mixer, nothing else. I know that insde ILive, GLD and QU mixers run Linux (some distribution).

There is a lot of space for 3 more soft buttons for aux. I think that CPU can hold 3 more aux lines or maybe there is a problem in DSP? More auxes are useful for QU24 and QU32.
