Calibration alignment and motors have been made many times.
and i had the same results as visitgec (2 messages before)

Hi

i had few months ago the same kind of issue with a fader which was blocked.

i had my avantis been repaired.
But yesterday the same problem appeared

(firmware V1.23, my console moved 3 times in her life, as i am working in a studio configuration)

I just installed the update V1.13 on my avantis.

The first fader of the right bank is dead.
it started to be strange with the GEQ mode just after the update 1.12 few days ago.

Now the fader is no more moving at all !!
The fader was working perfectly 2 weeks ago, before the 1.12 update.
I’m thinking a software problem more than an engine problem.

(the avantis never moves in a flycase, the avantis is in the studio with dust protection when switched off.)

Had exactly the same problem on a Dlive S7000 few days ago .
Dlive updated with last version v1.93

I found some topics where people control daws ( with dlive / avantis/ sq) , but not so many people speak about the automation.

I think one guy on the dlive forum speak about faders resistance.
I fear, he is experiencing what i speak about.

I know the avantis is more dedicated to the live.
And even for the studio with all the audio in dante , the avantis is so cool will all the bands i work with!

So do you think for now i have to get a small daw control to complete my avantis set-up ? ( like a presonus fader port8 / ssl uf8/ avid s1….)
As i really need fader automation to mix movies, and tv shows..
