The strip assign has nothing to do with your channels or I/O patching,
they are only a “layout” for your worksurface.
The patch input from the USB will put your USB inputs into channel 1, 3, 5, 7…
To get the channels 33 and up to be returns from Reaper, you need to patch them in the Input USB
Scroll down past the named channels to 33 and patch the USB 1, 2, 3 …. there.
So you had no files in the “AHSQ/USBREC” folder ?
A thing you could try is, route the L or the R to both A and B
If you still have a different level it could be a faulty output socket.
On the FX return channel in routing, you can turn that channel off regarding LR
On the layer with the fx returns, when on LR press the assign button to the left and de-select the fx return.
(the select button will turn off then)
DT168 – Dante into a switch
Switch – SQ5
Switch – Avantis/FoH
No extra latency to either console.
Most usb keys only write at speeds like 8-12MB/s, where as a SSD drive writes at 80MB+/s
the problem when buying usb keys are, that they often only tell you the max read speeds (80MB+) and not always the write speeds.
Hey Andre, sorry for the slow answer.
Yes that one, and have another somewhere, that is able to fix onto an even thicker table.
Been using something similar to Steffen for several years.
Think mine is a K&M though.
Easy to mount, and fits in the doghouse or the FoH “beautybox” together with the headphones, TB mic etc. 🙂
Just mute the fx send.
I tend to place it on a soft key for quick access.
That is why I wrote he might have a problem regarding Auto Negotiation on his switch, since it will not train to 100Mbit on the Gbit ports.
Sounds to me your switch has no auto negotiation as the D-Link, Dell, HP and Cisco switches I use all train fine at 100Mb
And yes the port is a 100Mb port, as they write in the SQ-5-Technical-Datasheet on page 3.
@alex A&H
I sure would love it, been thinking about using Midi to sync a few effects between my SQ, a MA light console and the QLab for sfx and vfx.
You just need the S-Link card in the SQ6
Then connect the QU to that card.
On the SQ, in I/O use Tielines to patch the signals from the stageboxes and the SQ (those that you need) to the expansion card, and on the QU patch that as the normal input from a stagebox.
Ahhh right Andre
I have used it when having rotary speakers with 3 mics, and when dual mic on a guitar amp.
*blames these times of no shows for his forgetfulness*
The minimum size for a Fat32 partition, in the basic standard, is around 32KB
Though in Windows it usual has to be at least 5MB for some reason.
The reason A&H says 2GB+ could be due to the firmware, and perhaps due to 2GB gives you just around enough space for 2 channels recording of 1 hour.
