    Hello All!

I have a question regarding the capabilities of the Network Port on SQ5.

When connecting to a 1000BaseTX Port on my Ruggedcom Router/Switch I was not getting a link.

It seems as if the SQ5 network port is only 100BaseTX.

To resolve the problem it was necessary to install a 100BaseT module in the switch.

There is nothing mentioned about network port speed in the guide.

Thanks a lot for your replies in advance.

Sounds to me your switch has no auto negotiation as the D-Link, Dell, HP and Cisco switches I use all train fine at 100Mb

And yes the port is a 100Mb port, as they write in the SQ-5-Technical-Datasheet on page 3.

The network port works on all switches with Fast Ethernet and better!
I only have GBit switches and all of them work…

That is why I wrote he might have a problem regarding Auto Negotiation on his switch, since it will not train to 100Mbit on the Gbit ports.
