Hi
We should be able to tell you more mid next week.Hope this helps,
Rob Clark2011/04/18 at 8:20 pm #28025Any feedback on punchbag and 16T ?
2011/03/22 at 11:16 am #27768Hi
Yes we did take advice from customers and distribution on and off the forum.
Its intended just to give people a preview ‘feel’ for what is possible with the ipad MixPad app. For demos or just to see what it does.
Unfortunately we cant call it ‘demo version’, this breaks some Apple rules. Offline was the best we could do, but this could suggest you can store to a show or set scenes up.
However, this would not be fair on customers who buy the app. I think we have found a happy medium.robc
A&H2011/03/21 at 3:21 pm #27764Hi,
We posted last week on another thread, I have included it below. The Audinate module is being tested in our system beta test programme. Once we know more we will post something, as soon as possible.
cheers
Rob Clark
A&Hprevious post …
A&H appreciates that some iLive customers are frustrated concerning the delay in shipping the Dante module.
The 64 channel Dante module is new technology for Audinate and has required considerable engineering effort beyond the existing 16 channel module. There have been various delays on the project that have resulted in product not reaching you. We understand customers are waiting, however we cannot ship the module before the beta test programme is complete.
We look forward to giving you some good news in the near future.

nice to hear..
lots of effort has gone into the fx racks.robc
A&H2011/02/23 at 6:02 pm #27519Hi,
We do listen to all feedback from all customers at shows, forums or through distribution. We note all requests – this is precisely why this forum exists and why several R&D engineers read this forum and contribute answers. We would also love to see all feature requests on iLive implemented – but resources are finite.
We have had requests for pitch shifting, possibly one previous request for the much more advanced auto-tune. Many many requests for ipad/iphone control, scene safes and of course dante.
We had a number of requests for gated-reverb, symphonic chorus, infrabass, parallel compression and dynamic fx level control, we implemented these, as you know.
A particular brand of phaser was implemented on iLive without request, simply since it was developed for another product. It involved harmonic emulation which will prove useful in future algorithm development.
The speaker matrix is research into exploring easier ways to control speakers at FOH. Engineers want to mix LR and worry about LR, LCR 4 or 5 way FOH at the venue depending on stage width – on the night. On traditional mixers this involves tweaking all channel pans and re configuration.
Furthermore sub bass management is another topic often discussed. I appreciate this may not seem as exciting as some FX but is important to move forward in the main mix. It was also development into extended IO capabilities of the fx rack.Whilst we work on new algorithms and products, its very difficult to tell you whats coming up whilst things are being developed and not possibly proved working. Look at Dante. There have been issues in developing the hardware platform which have been beyond our control, the delay has frustrated some customers. We apologise.
I hope this helps.

So you have to PAFL the mix that you have GEQ fader flipped in order to see the RTA data on the meters.Or you havent got the GEQ peak meter mode selected and your mix is not hot in level and the RTA meters are too cool. Check mixer surface setup preferences ‘show RTA peak band’.
hope this helps.

2010/09/23 at 5:40 pm #26475Hi Clintage,
Thanks for the feedback, you are not the only one requesting these features. We are currently busy on the ipad app and hope to turn our attentions back to itweak after that.
thanks robc
2010/09/22 at 12:40 pm #26425Is this the tap led on the touch screen ?
If so its not ideal for very fast delay times. We have also put tap time on soft leds which are more accurate.hope this helps
robc2010/09/14 at 10:21 am #26380Hi Steve,
Sounds strange. I think Mr B is right first check the audio sync is internal since you are using an analogue input. You will find this in MixRack setup/Mixer preferences/audio sync. This should read ‘internal’.
Check no Red ticks in the status page top left corner. Is the raw PFL’d input good through headphones? Then you could try PAFLing the mix feeding the PA. Hope this helps. Let us know.
cheers
robc2010/08/13 at 12:51 pm #26118Thanks Ian,
Glad you like Tweak.
We are developing more i apps for various platforms and yes we have an ipad in R&D. Also we continue to support features for Editor. Both have a place. Too early to say much more. You maybe best to wait just a little longer if you can.2010/08/11 at 12:50 pm #26104Thanks mumu (Dave),
I worked very hard on the phaser. The mid range growl is very accurate. combination of 12 stage accuracy and harmonic distortion originally caused by analogue electronics.
I am sure you have tried the manual mode.
But for others … set the depth to zero and sweep the offset manually. To make it easy to use we have put the listening notes as china graph on the panel.
6 stage is nice too – less growl.robc
2010/08/03 at 2:33 pm #26035Hi Albin,
We have various DSP research projects underway. We take DSP/FX development very seriously. We only release algorithms or emulations once they are top notch.
The moo phaser emulation was ongoing research, which was ready for release. We wanted to model a particular phaser with offset control, 12 stage and that unique sound.
Suffice to say the phaser emulation relies on harmonic distortion techniques to get the sound right. So you know where our research efforts are going in the future.
And yes multiband compression, dynamic EQ and pitch shifting are also topics in our research programme.
