I’ll have to check with the folks that were struggling with it to be sure. Are we saying that the fix implemented way back in March was specifically to address support for newer devices? Apologies, that was not clear from the update history on the app store or from this forum.

So if I change the channel configuration to two mono channels, assign the new (was right) channel to a spare input, set the pre-amp gains to 0dB on both channels, make it a stereo pair again, then all should be well?(!)
So why are the gains AND trim for both channels on a stereo pair not exposed to the engineer? That’s really obscure!

Bingo, I knew it must be possible; obvious really! Many thanks.
Strangely, the label for the right hand channel on the stereo SQ drive utility screen does not show the correct label, but seems to be working, perhaps a firmware issue? I’m on 1.5.0.

I’ve also noticed that the Libraries are not transferred either when a show is pulled – is it possible to get the user libraries into the offline app too?

Many thanks, Steffen R – That is a great way to inject a mic into an Aux; it even allows adjusting the level. Unfortunately it seems to be only before processing so is not so helpful in my case as there is a need for some significant EQ on the inputs – an excellent point to remember for the future.

Thanks Flo84! What do you meann by “the expansion card”? Is this something for the SQ-6 which is not gigaACE or something for the AR2412 end or instead of the DX Hub?

There is a chance it may never be needed however I would be MUCH happier knowing there is a plan B if things go wrong; it only takes an unsupervised child or someone who “knows how it works” leaving an unpleasant surprise!

I suppose the real motivation is for remote access via phone or tablet – a musician who can’t see anything other than their mix can’t cause grief for someone else – drummer being deafened while guitarist “still can’t hear it”! Imagine!…

How true is the rumour it will come later and do we have an ETA?…

Allegedly the in built slink interface is 64×64 at 48kHz so why can’t considerably more than two units be daisy chained? Really objecting to having to go the gigaAce & DX Hub option in addition to required I/O…
