I have had consistent success stereo recording with the Sandisk Extreme 3.0 (16gb and 32 gb). One tip/trick – format the drive in the device every single time. Also – make sure your firmware is updated, they are trying to stabilize the issue with updates. FYI – my first SanDisk drive was DOA and SanDisk replaced it for free. Make sure your drive isn’t defective overall.

The Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 SDCZ80 series I bought recently was DOA. I formatted it in my QuPac, tried a multi-track recording, had had over a 1000 errors (2 hour graduation). No matter what I did, I couldn’t access files the files or reformat the drive over multiple computers. I returned the drive to SanDisk and they replaced for free (online form to get the ball rolling).

Bought the highly recommended Sandisk 64GB Extreme, formatted in the Qu Drive, multi-tracked a 2.5 hour graduation ceremony, now my drive is not being recognized on any device, including the Qu-Pac I recorded on. Bummer. System was throwing a lot of errors. I didn’t have time to stop/re-start the recording.

After much research – seems the SanDisk Extreme CZ80 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive – SDCZ80-064G-GAM46 is a GREAT option – !!!BUT!!! they are no longer made. Any word if the updated GO versions works as well (Sandisk Extreme Go 64GB USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A USB Flash Drive – SDCZ800-064G-G46)???? Please help. I am suffering like everyone else and really wish A&H would just sell a working drive.
