I don’t believe it’s possible to use Elgato with dLive.
I’m surprised this suggestion hasn’t seen more praise.
This would be a killer feature.
A&H please consider this.
Avid mixers have had it since 2009.
The card was inside c2500 in my case.
I’d like to report I also had this issue and another person I know experienced this as well.
I will most likely get an IP8 as well as Windows tablet with a touch screen to get a Director running on it.
Well, I have found some people interested in my C2500 so I might go for it.
So many people I know have gone through a lot of trouble with this.
The app has to be backwards compatible. Not every console out there will be always updated to the most recent firmware and It’s almost impossible to track the iPads from all musicians and engineers to keep them from updating their dLive apps.
Has there been any word from A&H regarding the possibility of introducing RTA into the EQ graph?
Where did you report it? Perhaps I will do the same?
I got burned with this once again – this time when bringing my show file from C2500 to S5000.
My fader layers recalled nicely on the Bank 1 and Bank 3 leaving the middle bank blank. So I decided to put some strips in the middle bank. Then during the show I recalled a “guitar solo” scene which to my surprise cleared the layout of the middle bank.
There should be a way to avoid this. For now a painstaking going through all scenes and readjusting the filters is the only way to go.
Please fix this.
I had another show yesterday when I forgot that DCA didn’t have functioning meters. DCA metering is a must and I’m truly hoping it will be implemented in the next firmware release. An alternative might be a Group Spill – the same functionality as DCA spill but for input channels routed to a Group. For now I need to make two kinds of grouping – signal grouping to get my drumkit, multi mic’ed guitars, synths, etc. on single group faders on the main show layer (A) and DCA groups assigned to Soft Keys to spill the children of those groups on the surface. With DCA metering I could do without some of those signal groups. Of with Group Spill I could do without DCA grouping.
This could be called “DCA trim mode”.
Also it would be a nice feature to have on FX sends too.
Steffen R – how is it helpful for you when it defaults to ALLOW?
Is it possible to connect from a Windows computer?
Did you make this tablet working with the Director?
