As an aside, when i re-insert the stick into the surface, it reads correctly and can both see and play back the recordings!

Ive tried the memory stick on both PC & MAC with the same problem both times…

    Hi there,

I’ve been trying to take a recording of a performance for dep. musicians to listen to the score prior to shows and have experienced the following problem:

DLive records all the numbers onto USB without any difficulty, however, some recordings are named by the surface correctly, ie: DLIVE001.WAV, others are named differently by the surface, ie: DLIVE002WAV. In other words, without the file extension .wav.

In both cases, however, the memory stick is filled with recorded data, but on accessing the USBREC folder, there are no files therein! Is there any way to recover the recordings as they are definitely stored, just not accessible?

Before you ask, the same problem persists on all memory sticks, all of which from the ‘approved’ list.
