    Hello, in principle everything is explained in the other post. The position of the DIP switches is also mentioned there. However, older iDRs probably do not have the switches in this position (on the right in slot B).

    yes, exactly. This is a NiMh cell, the liquid is corrosive. I would measure the discharge current and also check whether there is a charging voltage at all, this should be at least 3 volts and also measure the charging current

    Hi Jan, the leaking battery didn’t look good at all. The liquid may be causing a fault in the battery charging circuitry.

    Memory battery defective? There is a VARTA 2.4 V battery on the mainboard.

    Hello Jörg,

    Yes, it is advisable to remove the whole board. In my case, the board (Fujitsu) was fixed with TX10 screws, but the CR2032 was not soldered but socketed. However, there are different versions of the board. Are you from Germany?
