Well, for some strange reason, I have to right click on the box and select “open image in new tab” to get it to show. hmmmm ……

I don’t know if these are showing yet. I see a box with the descriptor in it. When I click on it, it does open the correct picture. Not figuring out how to actually have the picture show in my posts.

Anyway, if you can view them, the first and third pictures show the knobs from different angles. The black is standard QU fader knob. The white is a knob I robbed from an old A&H GL2 mixer. The red knob is one that I just purchased.

The second picture is a shot of the under side. The slot that fits over the “T” of the fader is ever so slightly smaller on the red knob than the other two. It fits, but takes a bit to get it on and off. After I installed and removed this red knob a few times, it seemed to loosen up a bit.

These are going to work fine for me. It’s not like I’m changing knobs during a show, so if it takes a few seconds longer, that’s OK.

Hope this helps others in their quest for various colors of fader knobs for the QU mixers.

I’m trying to upload pictures, but not having any luck. If I can figure this out, I’ll get some pix up.

Well, I finally had some time to try out the new fader knobs. They do fit. A bit more snug than the original knobs that come with the QU32 and the knobs I robbed from my old GL2 mixer. They are also just slightly wider than the other two, but work just fine.

The seller’s ID on eBay is “familygate”. It took a couple of weeks to get, but they came from Germany and I’m in the midwest USA. Not surprising. I bought three different colors. Not as many colors as I’ve seen on Full Compass’ site, but WAY less expensive! Full Compass wants $3 – 4 each. I bought 20 knobs for about $35 including shipping from Germany.

I bought a refurbished ipad 2 with 64 GB for less than $200 and am about to get an Apple Airport Express. We’ll see how this works.

I mainly want something to allow me to walk the room and set monitors from stage. I’m wondering now if I shouldn’t start with my iphone 6s. It’s a pretty sizable screen. See how well that works and go from there.

I’m thinking about getting an Apple Airport Express to use as a router. Any thoughts?

I bought THIS ONE

Mounted it in a spare 8 space rack that I have. Strapped it on top of a big, 16 space rack on heavy duty wheels that houses my wireless units.

Works great for me.
